Friday Funnies: When Amateurs Fight in the Boxing Ring
Ah, yes. My favorite boxing match with a comedic edge. Watch as the "street fighter" Sutherland takes on a-- at best-- competently trained boxer in a professional bout. The results were not surprising.
Enjoy:
Okay, that wasn't so great for Sutherland. But I bet that if he'd been taking on some smaller, drunk guy in a bar's parking lot, he would've totally won.
I remember watching this match with my dad on Tuesday Night Fights back in the '80s. It was something we would still smirk about many years later.

Monday Funnies: Not the Best Performance of "Go Tell It On the Mountain" AND NOW with Bonus Videos!!
I came across this yesterday, but I thought it might be a little insulting to post it on Easter.
Anyway here's Henrietta and Myrna. Enjoy:
UPDATE: I just found this video of a public access psychic being absolutely bombarded by prank calls. It's NSFW due to strong language.
Enjoy:
Wow, this psychic, "The Flaccid Ego Psychic" apparently, is a fella that just keeps on giving. At least the camera set up did a slightly better job of centering him.
Check out this video (Also NSFW due to language):

Lazy but Happier Blogger Update with One More Mark Gormley "Little Wings" Video
I've been rather lazy for the past four or five days. It's amazing how much better I feel when I ignore Obama's attempts to create big, centralized government. But I know I shouldn't be so complacent, and I'll be back in soon-- probably tomorrow.
In the meantime, here's another Mark Gormley classic "Little Wings." Once again, look for the classic move "The Mark Gormley Weight Shift."
Enjoy, and I'll be back soon:

Mark Gormley: "Without You"
Be sure to check out Mark's signature moves-- "The Head Turn," "Walking in Place," and "The Mark Gormley Weight Shift."
Enjoy:
Is it just me, or do you get the feeling that the girl in the video probably wouldn't be dating Mark Gormley in reality? Call me jaded.

Friday Funnies: Greta Van Susteren Interviews Democratic Hopeful Mike Dickinson
Truly one for the books. (h/t Patterico at Patterico's Pontifications)
Probably the worst interview a candidate could ever hope for.
So what are we to take away from this interview, Mr. Dickinson? That you're a liar and a partisan, but at least you admit that you're a liar and a partisan. Oh, and if one disagrees with Obama and Democrats then you're going to work take away their right to free speech-- because, you know, you just arbitrarily decided that they're not genuine.
Great...

Friday Funnies: More YouTube Comment Reconstructions
These reconstructions are terrible. As an occasional gamer with no real opinion about the next gen consoles, the second one is especially funny. They are both NSFW due to language. You've been warned.
Enjoy: YouTube Comment Reconstruction #3 - 'Brian Eno: An Ending (Ascent)'
And the second: YouTube Comment Reconstruction #4 - 'Xbox One Reveal - Full Press Conference"

Saturday Morning Funnies: Worst Shark Attacks in Movies
Saturday funnies... because sometimes you need a laugh no matter the circumstances.
So here's a mash-up of some of the silliest shark attacks ever-- and the original "Jaws" thrown in for some reason.
Enjoy:
By the way, is it kinda sad that I've seen just about all of the films these clips are from? It seems that the one with Coolio in it is the only movie I haven't seen. But I did see Coolio in "Pterodactyl."
What can I say? Bad monster movies are my guilty pleasure.

Thursday Funnies: House Preview
Sorry that I haven't been posting recently. Between being (sort of) snowed in for a weekend and the Olympics, I've been distracted. Plus, I've been remarkably happier while being temporarily ignorant of Obama's lawlessness, stupid executive orders, and liberty-hating agenda. Ah, well...
Anyway here's a preview of "House," a Japanese horror film from the '70s. I haven't seen the film yet, so I don't know if it was meant to be a satire or actual horror-- I suspect the latter. However, the trailer is both bizarre and amusingly horrible. And there's some great music that jarringly starts and stops in the trailer for no particular reason. I get a good laugh from it.
There is some blood and gore in this cartoony/Monty Pythonesque way. You've been warned.
Enjoy:

Hey Everyone! There Will Be Absolutely No Fishing in Sochi's Toilets! Thank You
![]() |
| Pic from Breitbart Post |
Yeah. Okay.
And what exactly is that one next to the no fishing supposed to depict? Is it a "no partying with a roach in the toilet stall" sign?
From Elizabeth Sheld at Breitbart:
Canadian snowboarder Sebastien Toutant arrived in Russia before the Olympic Games to find a list of rules posted in the bathrooms. Among forbidden activities is fishing.
While the list of dos and don’ts includes some reasonable tips in aid of promoting good hygiene - not standing up, being sick or squatting above the toilet being used - you might be forgiven for thinking the chart's designers had ran out of ideas when they got to the last two rules.
And to think I was little worried about these games. Clearly, the Russian authorities have thought of everything.

Monday Funnies: My Favorite Charles Bronson Commercial of All-Time
Japan was in a weird place in the 1970s, as this commercial illustrates. Who thought that intercutting shots of Charles Bronson shooting a pistol Wild West style while slathering on loads of cologne was a good idea? Ah, well...
Enjoy:
Hey, Bronson! Save a little of the cologne for later, will ya?

Super Special Bonus Video: Ms Voice in "Talk to Me"
Uhhhh... Huh. Okay.
Well, I'm sure she has a future in the music business.
My favorite part is when the boyfriend throws the pillow at her-- or pretty much any quick shot of him. I mean, it's a real skill to overact without the audience ever seeing your face. Nice job.
Anyway, enjoy:
Sunday Funnies: Must Love Jaws
Okay, it's a few years old. But it always gives me a good laugh.

I saw this on Ace of Spades and had to share.
Enjoy:
Not too far from a couple of Michael Dudikoff's later films...

Monday Funnies: Raging Rudolph
It's an old Mad TV skit from way back in the '90s (saying that hurts me a little). It's what happens when Martin Scorsese directs a Rankin and Bass stop motion holiday special. Enjoy.
