Good news! Apparently the US is pulling out of Durban II, according to Politco.com. Check out Caroline Glick's article on her website for background and her analysis.
I'm not quite sure what this means to American foreign policy or why they are abruptly backing out. Must be some reason and I suspect it has little to do with the Obama administration's changing attitude toward Israel. The anti-Israel intent of the Durban II conference should have been pretty clear to the Obama admin. long before getting involved with it. Far more details are required before any speculation.
It will be interesting to see what develops.
